Quick and Easy Summer Nail Art: Whats Up Nails Ice Cream Nail Decals

Happy Friday everyone! I'm back with another quick and easy summer nail art design. This one is, I daresay, even more simple than last week's nail art. I recently purchased some really fun water nail decals from Whats Up Nails. The ones that I was the most eager to try out were these ice cream water decals. So adorable and super easy to use!

Tools:

Whats Up Nail Yum Yum Ice Cream Water Decals

Polishes:

Zoya Jordan

KBShimmer Clearly on Top

KBshimmer Matte Top Coat

Steps:

I started with applying a clear base coat to all of my nails. I then cut out the decals I would be using. I dipped each individual decal in water and then gently applied them to my nails. I used acetone to remove any hanging edges and applied top coat, being sure to "wrap" the tips of my nails. For my ring finger, I applied two coats of Jordan. I originally had just clear top coat  but decided to matte the nail.

I'm kind of in love with how these turned out. And I love the matte accent nail as well. These decals were hands down the easiest I've ever used. Most water decals traditionally require you to apply a colored base of polish before applying. You can do those with these as well to make them brighter, but it's not required, which is awesome.

Which do you prefer? The accent nail shiny or matte? Let me know in the comments!
