Quick and Easy Summer Nail Art: Neon Skittle with Gold Stripes

Happy Monday everyone! If your summer is going anything like mine then you are busy. I simply haven't had as much time as I'd like to sit down and do nail art. I've been rocking plain painted nails for the majority of the time and it makes me sad. This lack of time to do anything too involved has led me to come up with a few nail art ideas that don't take a ton of time to do. Today's nail art is a neon skittle with simple gold stripes!

Winstonia Striping Brush

Polishes used:

Zoya Winnie and Ziv

China Glaze Def Defying

KBShimmer Clearly on Top

I painted two coats of each color on my nails alternating each color to create skittle effect. Once dry, I freehanded my stripes with Ziv and my detailing brush. I finished with a coat of Clearly on Top.

Hella simple, right?! This took no time at all to complete; about 15 minutes tops. Although full disclosure: it took me longer because I stopped in the middle of doing my nails for a Netflix binge. I watched the entire first season of the British crime drama, Marcella. It was pretty good. The ending was a definite cliffhanger!

Do you have any quick nail art designs that you do when pinched for time? Also what are you currently watching on Netflix? Let me know in the comments!
