Blue and Silver Nail Art

Happy Monday gang and also happy first day of Spring! It's apropo that it is raining buckets today, what better way to usher in Spring, right? If you follow me on Instagram (which if you don't, you totally should) you may have seen this nail art a couple of weeks ago. I wasn't a hundred percent happy with the end result so I decided not to post it here on the blog. But after having a little distance from it and looking at the pics, I realized that it hadn't turned out that bad. It just wasn't exactly what I had initially been going for. I decided to let you my lovely readers be the judges!

Tools used:

Clear Stamper

Ellagee Lickety Split Liquid Latex

Uberchic Beauty Plate 4-02

Polishes used:

Zoya Lilian

Essie No Place Like Chrome

KBShimmer Clearly on Top

Steps:I started with two coats of Lilian and a coat of Clearly on Top. I then applied my liquid latex around my cuticles and stamped on my two images from 4-02 with No Place Like Chrome. I finished with another coat of Clearly on Top.

Okay, so you're probably going, "Um there's nothing wrong with this design...she's nuts." And honestly - there isn't. But sometimes the perfectionist in me rears it's annoying head and a tiny little thing becomes a big thing and it's all I can see. I won't even bother pointing out the issues I have with this design because I know it's stupid.. okay I'll point it out. The middle finger is off center. There I said it. Did you notice it? Was it driving you nuts too? Do you like the end result despite the off center stamping? Let me know in the comments!
