Gustav Klimt Inspired Nail Art with MoYou Artist Plate 02

Happy Tuesday everyone! I hope every one here in the States had a good three-day weekend - if you had yesterday off. I myself did not. I drowned my "I have to work on a holiday" sorrows in bright nail polish. I have really been feeling the bright summer-y colors as of late. Maybe it's because despite the fact that it's February it's been nearly 70 degrees here for the last week. Crazy! Today's nail art is inspired by one of my favorite, Gustav Klimt. MoYou has an entire plate dedicated to his artwork and I have had it for ages but have only used it once. I wanted to do something bold and graphic and his art fit the bill.

Tools used:

MoYou Artist Plate 02

Clear Stamper

Ellage Lickity Split Liquid Latex

Polishes used:

Sinful Colors Energetic Red

Hit the Bottle Black as Knight

KBShimmer Clearly on Top

Steps:

This was super simple and easy to do: I painted my nails with two coats of Energetic Red and dry completely. I then applied Lickity Split around my cuticles for easy clean up and stamped my  selected images on with Black as Knight. I finished with a coat of Clearly on Top.

I'm obsessed with the face image on my ring finger. I love face images. Is that weird? I also stamped a really cool owl image on my thumb and then completely forgot to take a picture of it. But, just imagine a really bad ass-looking owl and you'll get the gist!
