KBShimmer Office Space Collection - Makin' Copies and Cubicle Pusher

Happy Monday gang! Today is the last day of my staycation and I am sad to say the least. I spent most of it resting and relaxing and really thinking about what I want for myself in 2017. The extra time off also gave me time to swatches polishes that I'd received right before the holidays. I received two polishes from the KBShimmer Office Space Collection, Makin' Copies and Cubicle Pusher. I was so excited to try these out since the watches I've seen for the collection have been fantastic.

The details:

For pics I used my standard one coat of KBShimmer Basic Training and no coat. For Makin' Copies I used three thin coats and for Cubicle Pusher I used two coats.

Cubicle Pusher is a muted dusky purple holo with grey undertones. This color is my favorite of the collection. I have a ton of holo polishes but I don't have anything this color. I think it's truly unique. The formula was impressive as well: I used two coats for pics but could have gotten a way with just one. The coverage and opacity were great. I had no issues with bald spots or dragging which can sometimes be the case with thicker formulas.

Makin' Copies is a pale silver white holo. I wasn't sure how I felt about this one in the bottle, since these types of colors typically aren't my cup of tea. But it did grow on me after I swatched it. The formula was the thinnest of the two. I originally applied just two coats and it looked fine, but once I was under the lights taking pictures I could see a few thin spots and went back and applied a third coat. So my recommendation is to apply three thin coats to ensurer full opacity. Other than that I had no issues with application. This one still isn't a fave but it's still very pretty and if you are a lover of icy holos this one would be a good one to add to your collection.

The Office Space Collection is probably one of my faves that KBShimmer has released in the last few years. The colors are all wearable and office appropriate with subtle holo bling thrown in for fun. My favorite of these two is definitely Cubicle Pusher. I also have A Hint of Manila and Caught on Tape on my wish list.

The Office Space collection is available via the KBShimmer website and retail for $9.25 each.
