Spring Geometric Nail Art Inspired by March Birchbox

Happy Hump day gang! Today I have for you a design that was inspired by this month's Birchbox. It came in this adorable box covered in pastel colored geometric print with flashes of gold. In a word- beeyutifool! It's been a minute since I've had time to sit down and do nail art and this was the perfect inspiration to get the creative juices flowing.

Tools used:

Whats Up Nails Nail Vinyls (wide stripes)

Small nail art brush

Polishes used:

Sinful Colors Snow Me White

A-England Holy Grail

Essie School of Hard Rocks

Zoya Cala & Lake

China Glaze Def Defying

KB Shimmer Clearly on Top

I started with one generous coat of Snow Me White and allowed to fully dry. I used the wide stripe nail vinyls as a guide for my lines by cutting them in half to form triangle patterns and then filled them in with each color. I quickly removed them and allowed each triangle to dry a bit before apply a generous coat of Clearly on Top.

Between cutting each vinyl and cleaning up any bleeding or oopsies, this was a time consuming design! But totally worth it because I am in love with how it turned out. I didn't want to be too literal in my interpretation so the looks is different while still having a similar colors and feeling.

What do you all think? Do you like how the design turned out? Let me know in the comments section!
