Winter Nail Art

Happy Monday everyone! This weekend we had our first snowfall of the season. I have been wanting to launch into winter nail art but didn't feel like it was quite right when it was still 50 degrees with leaves on the ground. I just received my new Uberchic beauty Lovely Leaves stamping plate so I was a little bummed that the season had changed before I'd gotten a chance to use it. But then I spied two images on the plate that I thought work still work really well for winter-inspired stamping.

Tools used:

Clear Stamper

Uberchic Beauty Lovely Leaves Stamping Plate

Makeup Sponge

Ellagee Lickety Split Liquid Latex

Polishes used:

Colors by Llarowe Mustang Eli

Hit the Bottle Snowed In and Black as Knight

KBShimmer Clearly on Top

Steps:

I started with two coats of Mustang Eli. Once dry, I applied Lickety SPlit around my cuticles and on my middle finger I sponged on Snowed In on my middle finger. I then stamped on my tree image with black as Knight. I used Snowed In and another image. This image was meant to be falling leaves but I think it works for falling snow as well! I finished with Clearly on Top.

I'm really happy with how these turned out! And I'm especially glad that I got to use my Lovely Leaves plate despite it being a bit out of season. Winter nail art is my favorite so I'm excited to come up with some great designs for the season!
