Zoya Enchanted Winter Holiday 2016 Collection - Swatches & Review

Happy Monday everyone! Can you believe that winter and holiday collections are coming out already? It feels like Fall just started and now we are already talking about the holidays! But it's true - we have less than two months left in 2016 and the holidays will soon be upon us. Today I have for you Zoya's Winter/Holiday 2016 collection, Enchanted. Enchanted is a collection of six polishes; 4 pixie dusts and 2 "color-flip" metallics.

The details:

I used KBShimmer Basic Training as a base coat and no top coat. For continuity and to give you an accurate idea of what application will be like, I used 2 coats only for each polish.

First up is Saint. Zoya calls this finish a "color-flip" metallic. Which is fairly accurate since it's not quite a duochrome but does have some subtle flashes of pink and purple when the light hits it. This color really surprised me. I was fully prepared to hate it since it has an almost frosted look in the bottle. But once I applied it on my nails. Wow. This polish is stunning. The formula is on the thinner side but I was able to achieve full opacity with two thin coats.

Alice is described as periwinkle blue Pixie Dust. This polish reads more lilac or lavender on my skin tone. This formula is similar to the Magical Pixie Dusts from Zoya's 2015 Wishes winter holiday collection. Minus the large chunks of glitter. The formula on this one was good for the most part. I was able to apply to coats with no issues. My only problem with this polish was that it never really dried down to the super matte sparkly finish that I love so much from the original Pixie Dust formula.

Next is the second "color-flip" metallic in the collection, Olivera. Olivera surprised me much like Saint did; I was meh about it in the bottle but it wowed me on the nail. The formula was better than Saint's however. I used two coats but could have easily gotten away with the one. I had no issues with application.

Elphie is an Emerald Green Pixie Dust. Okay, now this is what I'm talking about! This is sooo much like the original Pixie Dust formula I was squealing inside while applying it. Ultra sparkly and dries down to that fabulous sugary sparkly finish. Formulas as fabulaous; I applied two easy coats and it dried down really quickly.

Lorna is a berry plummy toned Pixie Dust. Again - so happy with the formula on this one! Dried down beautifully and applied like a dream.

Last, but definitely NOT least in the collection, is Waverly, a deep rich blue Pixie Dust. I love this polish. Seriously. It's stunning. I'm not a blue polish girl most of the time but this one just knocked my socks off. I think the Pixie Dust formula is what is grabbing me so much with Waverly. It has all the elements that I love about the Pixie Dusts; it dries down to a matte finish but has a velvety quality to it and the sparkle is present but not over the top. Love this one!

I have a confession: I was not all the jazzed about this collection when I first saw the Press Release for it. But after swatching them and seeing what they look like on the nail in real life - it is SUCH a fabulous collection! I think the main reason for this is because of Zoya's return to the original Pixie Dust formulation.

My faves are Waverly, Lorna and Elphie. Have any of you picked up this collection yet? If so, what are your favorites? Let me know in the comments!
