Matte Double Stamping with A-England Saint George

Happy Friday everyone. I hope everyone here in the States enjoyed their Thanksgiving. My family went out to to eat. We've done that for the last three years or so after both my Mom and myself decided we were tried of cooking every year! It was the best decision we ever made honestly. The day is much more relaxing and stress-free as a result.

Today I have for you the nail art that I wore for the holiday. My all-time favorite polish is A-England Saint George and I hadn't worn it in awhile. I wanted to add a little something to it.

Tools:

Clear Stamper

MoYou Artist Plate 03

Ellagee Lickety Split Liquid Latex

Polish:

A-England Saint George

Hit Polish Spun Gold

Essie No Place Like Chrome

KBShimmer Clearly on Top

*OPI Matte Top Coat

Steps:

I started with one effortless coat of St. George. Yes - this polish is a one-coater! I then added a coat of Clearly on Top to speed up drying. I then used Artist Plate 03 and Spun Gold and No Place Like Chrome for the double stamping. I added one final layer of Clearly on Top and finished with my Matte Top Coat.

While I love the matte finish on this I am a bit bummed that a lot of the beauty of St. George got lost when I applied the matte top coat.  I kept my right hand plain with just a coat of Clearly on Top so I could have the best of both worlds!
