31DC2015 Day 31 - Honor Nails You Love

Woohoo! It is the final day of the 31 Day Challenge and the final prompt is one of my personal faves; Honor Nails You Love. I always find it so much fun and so challenging to re-create the nail art of bloggers and nail artists I love. This particular bit of nail art was inspired by an Instagram Nail Artist, Gianna aka Nailstorming that I recently started following. She was inspired by another Instagram Nail Artist, Cindy aka Cindysvanity. It's a continuous circle of nail art love folks!

Tools:

None - just the brushes from the polish bottles!

Polishes used:

China Glaze Peachy Keen

Elevation Polish Ceram Sea

Color Club Lady Holiday

Dance Legend 419

Wet N' Wild White French Creme

Sephora by OPI It's Real 18K Gold Top Coat

KBShimmer Clearly on Top

Steps:

This design was fairly easy to do: I started with two coats of Peachy Keen. I then wiped off the excess polish off of the brushes of each polishes and lightly applied then to create a semi-dry brush effect. I layered them until I was happy with the final result. I then added a coat of It's Real and my top coat.

These didn't turn out exactly like Gianna's or Cindy's because I didn't have the exact colors or gold glitter that they used, but I am really happy with how these turned out. I need to use the dry brush technique more often. Not only is it easy but the effect is gorgeous!

And that concludes the 31DC2015 folks! I will be posting a recap of my posts from the month. Let me know what your personal faves were in the comments section!
