Matte Polka Dot Spring Nail Art

Happy almost Friday everyone. I was jonesing for some polka dots on my nails earlier this week and decided to go with the feeling. Spring feels like it has finally sprung and I have been wearing more and more pastels lately. And of course any excuse to glue studs to my nails is a good thing!

Tools used:

Dual-tipped dotting tool

Born Pretty Store Studs

Polishes used:

China Glaze Peachk Keen

Polish My Life Nude Lace

OPI Matte Top Coat

This nail art design was really simple and easy to do. I painted my nails with two coats of Peachy Keen on my middle and ring fingers and my thumb. I painted Nude Lace on my index and pinky. Once dry, I used the small tip of my dotting tool and Nude Lace to add my polka dots. I then added a layer of Matte Top Coat onto my nails, leaving the plain nails shiny and adding studs to finish off the design.

I liked this design so much I wore it for two days straight - which is a rarity for me when it comes to nail art! There is just something about polka dots that scream Spring time to me.
