Graphic Print Nail Art with Aloha from OPI

Happy Friday gang! Today's nail art is a riff on an idea I had earlier this week. I am obsessed with stripes (black and white to be specific) and I basically wear at least one striped item every week. I try to keep it to one day a week so that people at work don't look at me and ask, "Is your entire wardrobe just stripes?" When I sat down to do this I was debating whether to freehand the stripes (always a risk with my shaky hands) or stamp them. While looking for a good stripe pattern I came across this plate and fell in love with the graphic triangle pattern.

Tool used:

BM Plate 423

Color4nails Crystal Veil

Polished used:

Zoya Willa

OPI Aloha from OPI

Pueen White in White

KBShimmer Clearly on Top

Steps:

I started with two coats of Willa. I then stamped on my pattern  with White in White. Once dry I applied thin lines of Crystal Veil on the areas I wanted to add Aloha from OPI. I added a base color of White in White underneath Aloha since it is actually a bit sheer. I removes the Crystal Veil strips and finished with a coat of Clearly on Top.

The graphic pattern on a few of my nails came out a bit squished. I am using a new squishy stamper and am still getting the hang of it. But overall I really like this combo. I am a huge fan of black and white with bold accent colors. The combo always gives me an energy boost!
