On to Day two of the series! This design is inspired by a pair of pump from Charlotte Olympia called "Dolly". Dolly encompasses all there is to love about being a girl: leopard print, high heel, with pretty blue accents! It's actually one of the more sedate shoe designs that Charlotte Olympia has on her website which should tell you a lot about her design aesthetic!
Tools used:
Dotting Tool
Small detailing brush
Medium Striping Brush
Polishes used:
Floss Gloss Dinge
(base color)
Floss Gloss Donatella
Pueen Black in Black
China Glaze Seaspray
KBShimmer Clearly on Top
Steps:
I started with two coats of Dinge before moving on to my leopard spots. Next to polka dots, leopard print is probably one of the easiest nail art designs to do. I simply painted on random dots or spots and then used my dotting tool to create the black C and U shapes that make the leopard print. I then used my striping brush to apply Seaspray and create a french tip. I finished with a coat of Clearly on Top.
I love how simple and yet eye-catching this turned out. Just like the shoes!
