Zoya Wishes Collection Swatches & Review

*Provided for Review

It's hard to believe that there are only 30 days left in the year (!), but it's true and the holiday season is upon us. So it's the perfect time to show you all Zoya's winter/holiday Wishes Collection. The Wishes collection is made up of two metallics, a cream and three Pixie Dusts.

Willa & Imogen

First up are Willa a jelly-like black cream and Imogen a black based Pixie Dust with silver glitter. I'm a sucker for black polish so I was really excited to try Willa. Though I am in love with  the almost squishy-like finish it had once it dried I was a bit disappointed in the formula. It is super thin. I had to be incredibly careful to avoid my cuticles flooding with this one. But- it builds up nicely and I only needed three coats for full opacity. Imogen is the most opaque of the three Pixies. It applied nicely and I had no issues with glitter coverage. My only very small gripe with it is that I wish more of the black based showed through. I'm weird I know.

Haven & Thea

Haven is a gorgeous metallic plum-purple. The formula was the best of the bunch, it applied smoothly and was opaque in three coats. Thea was a bit on the sheer side. I only did two coats and looking at the pics I could really have used a third. The glitter coverage wasn't as jam-packed as Imogen but I liked that the base shows through. I wore these two for Thanksgiving because I liked them so much.

Prim & Nori

Prim is a frosted light blue metallic. I have to admit that frosted colors are my least favorite of all finishes, so I wasn't overly excited about this one. If you like frosted colors I think Prim would make a great winter/holiday polish. The formula was pretty much identical to Haven; super easy application and I only needed two coats. Nori is a bit of an enigma for me. It just doesn't go with Prim at all. I would have liked it more if it had been a cooler more silver-toned blue. The formula was similar to Thea's. I could definitely have used a third coat but it wasn't really noticeable in real life.

So what do you all think? Any must have for you in the collection? Do you like the Pixie Dust pairings? My picks are Haven, Thea & Willa.
