Hi all, I hope everyone here in the States had a great (and safe) holiday weekend. Mine was pretty laid back which is always a good thing in my book. Today I have a fun little comparison post for you. I love corals - especially in the summer and recently acquired two colors that I thought would make a great comparison post.
Today's subjects are Butter London Trout Pout and Zoya Wendy. Both are bright fun happy corals. Both look really great on various skintones. I also thought they would be pretty much exact dupes for one another. I was wrong!
So let's get to the basics of these two! Color wise, Trout Pout is nearly a full shade lighter with more pink undertones. This surprised me since they look almost identical in the bottle. Wendy is a darker "juicier" coral. Formula-wise these two are pretty similar. Both are prone to being streaky on the first coat but level out nicely on the second coat. I used two coats of each for the photos.
So is it worth having owning both of these? If you love Coral I think so. They are just different enough to justify it. If you can only choose one I say go for whichever one you like best. Zoya retails at $9 and Butter London at $15 so price point may play a role in your choice.
So what's your pick Wendy or Trout Pout? I personally can't choose because I love them both!
