Monogram and Polka Dot Nail Art

My obsession with polka dots continues...but this time I added a fun little twist into the mix with a freehand monogram. Gotta keep it interesting, right?  var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-41312601-1']); _gaq.push(['_setDomainName', 'valiantlyvarnished.com']); _gaq.push(['_setAllowLinker', true]); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']);

(function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s); })();

This was a relatively quick and easy design to do. I did have a slight snafu while doing the monograms when I mixed the letters up and spelled out "MA" and had to redo them. In my defense, it had been a long day. And I was watching TV and got distracted.
Colors used:
American Apparel L'Esprit (base color)
Sinful Colors Snow Me White (polka dots)
Sinful Colors Black on Black (monogram)
I thinned out my black polish with a little nail polish thinner and used my striping brush to paint on the letters. I have found that thinner is a lifesaver for freehand nail art.
I have to say that I think this design is adorbs! Girly and preppy all at the same time. Now I want to do MOAR monograms! Just slap my initials on everything I can find. This must be how the obsession with monograms begins...one monogram and you're hooked.
