Inspired by Fashion - Valentino Fall 2014 Nail Art

I know, I know. It's crazy to be thinking about Fall when it's barely Spring, but that's how the fashion world works and so Fall runway fashion has been all over Pinterest and the fashion sites I read. This gorgeous green floral Valentino dress caught my eye over the weekend and I just knew it had to be nail art. var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-41312601-1']); _gaq.push(['_setDomainName', 'valiantlyvarnished.com']); _gaq.push(['_setAllowLinker', true]); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']);

(function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s); })();

  I started with three thin coats of China Glaze Budding Romance which is a beautiful jelly green. I used my small detailing brush and a dotting tool for the flowers with the following colors for the flowers:
ILNP Grape-alicious
NY & Co. Millionaire
Sinful Colors Snow Me White
American Apparel L'Esprit
Sinful Colors Last Chance
China Glaze Plum Purr-fect

I'm still perfecting my flower-painting technique and wish this were a tad more detailed but overall I think this turned out really pretty. I love the dark purple and gold against the light green. It feels spring-like without being pastel which I love.
