Colors by Llarowe Nobody Makes Emily Twerk In The Corner (NMETITC) Swatch & Review

Today I have a polish from Colors by Llarowe's spring collection. I have to admit that my main reason for buying this polish was it's name. Nobody Makes Emily Twerk In The Corner (named after Emily who works at Llarowe) is a pretty hysterical name for a polish. My second reason for buying this is because I am a sucker for turquoise. var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-41312601-1']); _gaq.push(['_setDomainName', 'valiantlyvarnished.com']); _gaq.push(['_setAllowLinker', true]); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']);

(function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js'; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s); })();

NMETITC is a pretty turquoise crelly base with silver and gold hex glitters and smaller bits of silver and gold glitter throughout. I didn't have any issues with application. The polish applied smoothly with no dragging or patchiness. The polish is on the sheer side. I used two coats for pics and as you can see I still had some visible nail line. I don't think this would be an issue for someone with short nails. The polish dries a bit dull so a good shiny top coat is needed.
I love the jelly sandwich look to this polish. I think next time however I will layer it over a cream polish of similar color or used a third coat to eliminate the VNL.
NMETITC is currently out of stock on the Llarowe website but be sure to sing up for her newsletter to be kept up to date with her monthly restocks!
