Artsy Wednesday: Inspired By a Tutorial - Holographic Saran Wrap Nail Art

Oh, hai! Yes I still do this Artsy Wednesday thing. I have been woefully neglectful of my Artsy Wednesday posts but I am going to make an effort to do better. This week's theme is inspired by a tutorial. The original tutorial I sat down to do was a comedy of errors for me. So I scratched it and started over with a new less hair-pulling inducing one. This one I found on Lacquerstyle.  var _gaq = _gaq || []; _gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-41312601-1']); _gaq.push(['_setDomainName', '']); _gaq.push(['_setAllowLinker', true]); _gaq.push(['_trackPageview']);

(function() { var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true; ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + ''; var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s); })();

Colors used:
A-England Princess Sabra (base color)
A-England Sleeping Palace
Color Club Cloud Nine
Color Club Blue Heaven
I didn't have saran wrap so I improvised with a balled up piece of plastic.
I wish I'd had actual saran wrap for this since I think the colors would have popped more, but I do think this is really cool and unique. The tutorial is super easy and quick to do. My nails are crazy blingy right now!
