Swatch Week: Shimmer Jennifer, Julie, Leslie & Tammy

*Items in the post were provided for my honest review
Swatch week continues and today I have the last of the Shimmer polishes I received to show you guys. I have been woefully neglectful in posting these so sorry about that. I kept trying to decide if I wanted to do nail art with them and post that or just post swatches. I opted for swatches but will have to come up with some fun nail art later on! Swatches after the jump!

So what can I say about Shimmer polish that I haven't already said? Not much. Amazing glitter coverage, beautiful color combinations?? Yes and yes! I will just let you ogle the pretties!
Shimmer Jennifer is my favorite of this bunch. Chocked full of copper, seafoam green and blue glitters. I layered two coats over Essence You Belong To Me. This is such a perfect combo!

Shimmer Tammy is a really interesting combo of black purple and gold glitter. I tried layering this over darker colors but depth just seemed to get lost so I opted for Wet N' Wild Fergie Grammy Gold as the base color and two coats of Tammy.

Shimmer Julie is a rainbow of colored glitter. It has everything from silver, blue, red, pink and I think I even spotted some gold in there but it could have been a trick of the light. This polish makes me think of birthdays and cupcakes. So of course I had to layer it over pink! I layered one coat over Sinful Colors Over It.
Shimmer Leslie is a pretty blue and pink glitter. This one screamed girly to me and I almost layered it over pink as well but wanted to play up the blue glitter bits. This is one coat over The Balm Sky Blue Right Past You.

I will say once again that if you are a glitter polish fan you have to try Shimmer out. I myself feel that I need MOAR Shimmer polish in my life. The formulas and quality are so consistent that I think they are well worth the money spent on them. Shimmer Polish is sold on Etsy and retails for $12 a bottle.
