Me.Lissa Lacquer Swatches and Review

Happy Monday gang! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I spent mine watching a close friend get married. I had such a fun time at her Reception. Today I have a trio of polishes to show you from Me.Lissa Lacquer, a new - to me - indie polish brand.
First up is Social Media Abuzz, a clear-based glitter topper with small white and black glitter, black and white bar glitter and black and white glitter shards. The glitter payoff on this was great. No fishing for the larger pieces was required. I layered one and a half coats over Colour Gossip Backstabber.
Back To School Rocks is my favorite. Neon pink and lime glitter in a semi- sheer sky blue base with back square, bar and hex glitter. Again, I had no issues with this polish. No fishing or random bald spots. I can't quite remember what I layered this over but I believe it was American Apparel The Valley.

Last up is Oh Cruella. I have to admit when I saw Oh Cruella next to Social Media Abuzz I felt that they were too similar. On the nail however they read very differently. Oh Cruella is a a bit sparser with larger back, red and white glitter. It also has no bar glitter. The formula was consistent with the other two polishes. I layered one and a half coats over Sally Hansen White Out.
I am really impressed with the quality of Me.Lissa Lacquer. Consistent formulas is very hard to come by. As for Oh Cruelle and Social Media Abuzz I will say they are very similar and you don't really need both. My personal pick after Back To School Rocks is Social Media Abuzz.
Me.Lissa Lacquer retails for $8.50 a bottle and is sold on Etsy.
