Yes, I am actually posting twice today. Doing a challenge and posting swatches is a lot. But what can I say, I'm cray cray. I swatched a ton of polishes before staring the 31 day challenge and will try to post them throughout the month for you all. Today's post features Darling Diva polish. I have long been an admirer of this indie polish line. I seriously drool over pics of Channeling Coco Chanel which is on my wish list. I've always heard such great things about this polish line so I am really excited to show you guys three polishes. DD was kind enough to send to me.
First up is Seriously Serious. I seriously love this polish- no pun intended (okay maybe a little bit). It is a gorgeous combo of densely packed green and purple holo glitter. The formula on this one was a bit thick but very smooth. You could definitely achieve opacity with this one on it's own but I layered two coats over The Balm I Take My Coffee Matte Black. I think the black base really allows the glitter in this one to pop.
Highway to Hell. A black jelly with multi-sized red glitter? Yes, please! I am sucker for colors like this. Highway to Hell's formula was perfection. I didn't need to dab or fish for the larger glitter pieces. Again, this one could be worn on it's own with three thin layers, but I layered two coats of over The Balm ITMCMB.
Last up is Love Don't Live Here Anymore. Densely packed, Yellow Gold microglitter in a clear base with rose pink glitter throughout. This is one of those polishes that comes alive depending on what you layer it over. I experimented with a few base colors and settled on Sinful Colors Starfish as my undies. I love that you can build up intensity with this one; coverage was great. I used two coats over Starfish. This combo made me feel like a Disney Princess. Very girly and blingy!
