Colour Gossip Baby Bump and Backstabber

Happy Tuesday gang! Today I have two pretties to show you from Colour Gossip. I only recently learned of this brand via Instagram. They always post really cool collages of their polish and various nail art designs or fashion. They were kind enough to send me two polishes to share with you all, Backstabber and Baby Bump.

Baby Bump is a pretty pastel blue cream. I don't think I actually have anything in this shade of  blue in my stash. The formula on this one is a bit thick. On the plus side of this is that it is also completely opaque with one coat. It applies smoothly and is self -leveling. I used two coats plus top coat for the pics.
The name of this polish makes me think of that old O'Jay's song, Back Stabbers, "they smile in your face all the time they want to take your place... the backstabbers..."   I found myself singing it while I took my pics, edited them and now while I'm typing this. That song is catchy! Backstabbers is a classic red. Not too bright and not dark. It's the kind of red that I think would work for many different skin tones. The formula on this was amazing! No streaking, no dragging, no patchiness. I applied two easy coats for the pics along with top coat.
Overall I am really impressed with the quality of these. I don't feel like the colors are ground- breaking but you can't really beat classic colors with a good solid formula. You can find Colour Gossip polish via their website. They have an extensive line of colors. Bottles retails for $9 but Baby Bump is currently on sale for $4.
