Avon Cosmic Eclipse, Saturn and Starlight

Hi lovelies! I have a few polishes to show you today from Avon's new holographic polish collection, Cosmic. The collection is made up of ten polishes but I grabbed the three that really stood out to me and that didn't look like anything I already have. Ream more after the jump for more pics and my full review!

First up is Starlight. This color is one of those fugly colors that I love so much! I would describe it as kind of an acid-green yellow. The holo in all of the Cosmic colors is scattered as opposed to linear. Which is really apparent and beautiful in Starlight. The formula was a bit on the sheer side but other than that applied smooth and evenly. I used three thin coats for full opacity.

Saturn is a really pretty dusky burnt orange. Once again I really love the uniqueness of the color. Like Starlight the formula on this was very sheer. I again needed three coats for full opacity.

Eclipse for me turned out to be the sleeper of the bunch. I vacillated back and forth about buying it at all and then decided it would be good to have since I don't own any holo in this shade. I am so glad I did because I love this color so much! In the bottle it looks like a charcoal gray scattered holo but when I started painting my nails I realized that the base actually has a really pretty dark blue undertone to it. This was also the most opaque of all three colors. It applied in two super easy even coats.

I was really impressed with the quality of this collection. I wouldn't mind adding a few more to my collection simply for their great formula;they all applied evenly and smoothly. The Cosmic collection is currently sold on the Avon website and retail for $6 a bottle.
