Shimmer Jasmine and Essie Naughty Nautical

*Items in the post were sent to me for my honest review
TGIF lovelies! I hope everyone else's week went by as fast as mine has. Today I have for you a two-fer swatch post. The lovely Cindy of Shimmer Polish sent me some gorgeous shinies to review. I was originally going to do two big posts but have decided to space them out a bit so you can enjoy them in all their glory. Essie Naughty Nautical I actually picked up on my birthday last month and have worn a few times but hadn't swatched yet. I felt it was the perfect undies for Shimmer Jasmine!
Essie Naughty Nautical is a bright teal green with subtle silver shimmer throughout. I am a sucker for teal. It's one of the colors that I never get tired of buying. NN has a great formula; it goes on a little sheer but is completely opaque after the first coat. The shimmer isn't as noticeable on the nail as it is in the bottle, but it's there. I used two coats for pics.
Shimmer Jasmine is  a gorgeous teal and blue-green glitter with bits of copper throughout. I am seriously in love with this polish! It was so easy to apply; the clear base was slight jelly-ish but not too thick and the glitter coverage was great. I used one and a half coats for the pics and no top coat.
Essie is sold at Walgreens, Target and other retailers and sells for $8. You can find Shimmer Polish via Etsy and the Shimmer Facebook page and retails for $12 a bottle.
