Rose French Tips

Hi all, did everyone here in the US enjoy their 4th of July holiday? Mine was really relaxing. Ice cream and BBQ chicken figured prominently in my day. I was supposed to post these yesterday; this is what was on my nails for the holiday. Not very 4th of July but I loved them and couldn't bear to take them off. I'm not a huge french manicure fan - I was when I was younger but now I kind of find them boring. This idea came to me on my train ride home from work earlier this week. I figured it would be really cool looking if they came out how I pictured it. Which, fortunately, they did!

I started with two coats of China Glaze Nude. I then paint on an uneven length of Butter London Pillar Box Red on the tips of my nails. Once dry I took my small detail brush and painted on the petal detailing using American Apparel Hassid. For the leaves I used Revlon Emerald City and China Glaze Budding Romance. For top coat I used SV.

I have now been wearing this mani for 72 whole hours. That is a record for me when it comes to nail art! I really love how they turned out and have gotten so many compliments on them.
