Hi lacquerheads, happy Monday! Today I have another pretty to show you from Shimmer Polish. I go through phases with polish colors and right now I am decidedly in a neutral/pastel phase. With the occasional splash of glitter. This combo works perfectly.
Shimmer Karen is a light pink - lavender glitter in a clear base with small bits of teal, purple and silver glitter. I have seen swatches of this layered over various shades of pink but I was really curious to see how it looked over a pastel. For the gradient, I applied Karen over American Apparel L'Esprit using the bottle brush at the base of each nail. I then added an accent nail of Karen on my ring finger. Formula-wise Karen was flawless; not goopy or thick and I only needed one coat for great coverage on my accent finger.
A macro of Karen
Stay tuned for more pretty shinies from Shimmer!
