Elevation Polish Colline du Charf and Toubkal

Happy Monday all! I hope everyone had a great weekend. I spent my Saturday at a Great Gatsby-themed Bridal shower (!) for a close friend. It was good fun.  Today I have two polishes that I recently purchased from Elevation Polish. I am becoming a bit of a fan girl of Lulu's (the owner/mixologist) awesome polishes! These two Colline du Charf and Toubkal have been on my wishlist for awhile so I was really excited to finally get my hands on them.

First up is Colline du Charf, a gorgeous taupe with purple undertones. This color actually looks more purple against my skin than it does on lighter skin tones. I've seen it on others and it is definitely more beige-looking. But either way I still love it. This polish goes on pretty sheer so I wound up using three thin coats for full opacity. Lulu describes the finish as a cream on her website but it kind of has a slight jelly finish to it.

Toubkal is a true stunner! A gorgeous dark red crelly with god and red shimmer. You may remember this polish as the color of my snake print  nails during Animal Print week. I am so in love with this polish! But it is so hard to photograph! This shimmer is amazing and really alive on the nail even in relatively low light. I did find the formula a bit streaky but it does even out nicely. I used three thin coats for full opacity.

Both Colline du Charf and Toubkal are from the Morocco Collection and are still available on the Elevation Polish site. Polish retails for $8.50.
