Happy Monday all! I know- that's an oxymoron. But on the brighter side of things - warm weather forecasted for the week. Yay! We are on day 2 of Indie Polish Week and today I am featuring Silly Lily Polish! Check out reviews and swatches after the jump.
Winterberry is gorgeous glitter topper with with purple and black matte glitter in a sheer milky purple base. This was my favorite of the bunch. The glitter pay off was fantastic and I didn't have to do any glitter fishing. I used one and a half coats over American Apparel Dynasty.
My second favorite of the group is Fab 3. This is a fun glitter with pink, purple and blue hex, square and diamond- shaped glitter. Again glitter pay off with this polish was great. I used one and a half coats over OPI Panda-monium Pink.
Paint Splatter is a semi sheer pink-purple base with semi- sheer thin pink, blue, orange, green and clear glitter. I really wanted to like this one but it was not easy to apply at all. The larger glitters were pretty much impossible for me to fish out and the polish had a tendency to drag when I applied a second coat. This is two coats over Panda-monium Pink.
Last up is Spring Fever. This is a super cute glitter topper with pale green glitter shards and heart, star and round glitters in pretty pastel shades in a pale milky white base. Perfect for Spring. This was fairly easy to work with. I did have to do a bit of fishing for the hearts and stars but no more than I would with any other glitter polish with those shapes. This is one coat (with a bit of dabbing for the hearts and stars) over OPI My Boyfriend Scales Walls.
My personal favorites are Winterberry and Fab 3 - though I wore Spring Fever for two whole days which is an eternity for me! It was so pretty I didn't want to take it off. What is your favorite of the bunch? Silly Lily Polish is sold on Etsy and retails for $7.
