Born Pretty Store Review: Eco-Friendly Water-Based Nail Polish

Bonus post for you all today!

I have a review for Born Pretty Store's Peach Eco-friendly Water Based Nail Polish in Orange (#18).  I was intrigued at the idea of a polish that needed no nail polish remover to be removed. First off let me start off by showing you guys a picture of the adorable bottle the polish comes in.

How cute is this?! Each bottle has a cute little face with various facial expression. My little bottle girl has the sassy side eye going on. Adorbs! This polish isn't meant to be worn with base or top coat. It can last between 1-2 days on it's own.

The polish is thin (being water-based and all) and was a bit streaky going on. I used two coats for opacity but I think three coats would probably be best to even things out.

I wore this for a little while to let it dry completely and see what the removal process would be like. The instructions on Born Pretty state that the polish can simply be scraped off using your fingernail or using tape to remove it and any mess during application can be washed off. I was really impressed at how easy this was to remove as well as the clean up process.

Here is a step-by-step view of the removal process. It literally took me less than a minute to do all five fingers. I then went to restroom and washed off any remaining residue with plain water.

I was really impressed with the fact this polish worked exactly as it was supposed to (which I find to be rare with stuff like this). It's a great alternative for those who are sensitive to chemicals or simply want to be eco-friendly. Born Pretty also offers a base and top coat thatto be worn with the polish.

This polish retails for only $3.59 and comes in 13 colors and a base and top coat. Born Pretty offers free worldwide shipping. If you are interested in placing an order you may use my discount code PSL91 to receive 10% off your order!
