Hi all. Today's design was born out of drawing a complete and utter blank on ideas. Sometimes I sit down to do my nails and have no idea what I want to do. I had two other ideas that didn't turn out how I wanted and that I just felt "meh" about. So I decided to do something that let me practice my flower painting skills.
I started with two coats of Lime Crime Milky Ways. Once somewhat dry I used my medium striping brush and Sinful Colors Starfish to paint one the stripes. I used the end of the brush to make the dots. For the flowers I used a flat tipped nail art brush and Butter London Snog. I used Revlon Emerald for the leaves and Milky Ways to add depth to the flowers.
I love how these turned out, but after finishing them I thought, "Wow. These would have looked great with a light blue." Arrgghh! I hate it when I have an even better idea after finishing a design! This is the problem when you're totally Type A. I just can't help it! Oh, well perhaps I will do it anyway. Who says a good idea can't be repeated?
