Artsy Wednesday - Watercolor Leaves

Can anyone hear me?? I'm up to my ears in snow so my voice may be muffled- lol! Got six inches here in Chicago yesterday. I'm so over winter! I often ask myself while trudging through mini-mountains of snow why I don't live somewhere else. This question becomes less rhetorical with each passing winter. Okay- weather rant is complete. On to the nails!

Today's Artsy Wednesday theme is "Leaves". I was originally going to do a stamping design for this challenge but I have been wanting to do another watercolor design since my first design here. The watercolor technique is so much fun!

I started with two coats of Lime Crime Milky Ways as my base. I then added a coat of Seche Vite. Once dry I used my two medium striping brushes to paint on the leaves. I started with Revlon Posh to paint on the leaf design. I then went over the leaves with American Apparel MacArthur Park to give them some depth and visual interest.

What do you think? I'm really in love with this design! Would you all like to see a tutorial on how to do this design? If so, let me know in the comments section!
