Polish Days: Back to Nature - Cherry Blossoms

It's Polish Days time again! This month's theme is "Back to Nature". With the cold weather, cloudy days and snow I wanted to avoid any hint of a winter theme. We have gotten off easy here for the most in regards to snow, but it still feels like it's been winter forever! Seeing all of the bright and sunny colors from various spring polish collections isn't helping either. I love my dark vampies but bright spring colors seem like a breath of fresh air right now. So, with that in mind I decided I would do an homage to spring flowers. I chose cherry blossoms because well, they are purty!

I used two coats China Glaze For Audrey as my base. I then used my medium striping brush and painted on the branches using Revlon Hot For Chocolate. I cleaned my brush and then added small abstract splotches using Essence Ultimate Pink to create the cherry blossoms. I added Orly Decades of Dysfunction to add a bit of depth to the blossoms. I also added a few touches of China Glaze Kalahari Kiss to the tree branches for dimension. I finished with a coat of SV.

These were fun and really easy to do.  After finishing these I realized that they reminded me of the Arizona Iced Tea can-ha!
