Hi all! Today is post-company holiday party. Yay! I have the day off so decided to take some time to show you what I've been wearing. I actually wound up taking off my beautiful gradient from earlier in the week because it chipped. Sad, but it gave me a chance to try out one of the colors I picked up at Ulta last weekend. I have seen Revlon Popular in swatches before and was pretty "meh" about it, but Uta was having a buy 2 get 1 free on their Revlon polishes so I got it for nothing. I was not prepared to love it as much as I do.
Popular is a soft semi-sheer pink with small silver glitter particles and large round sliver glitter. I was pleasantly surprised that I was able to achieve full opacity with only two coats since the polish looked more sheer in the bottle. The two coats also created a glitter sandwich effect which I love. I've gotten so many compliments on this polish and people asking how many polishes I used. Usually with a real glitter sandwich I say two or three but it's been fun to say only one! I have been a Revlon polish fan for years- they have great quality polish and colors for a relatively affordable price. Their glitters have really impressed me. The quality is comparable to some of the more expensive brands I own.
