Artsy Wednesday: Glitter Gradient

Happy Hump Day lovelies! Today is going to be a crazy busy day for since it is the day before my company's holiday party, which I plan every year. This is the one party that actually drives me to bad dreams and cold sweats. So...yay! Honestly it's the most stressful party I plan and I am always happy when it's done but it's a good time for the most part. The trouble with event planning is that you can never 100% enjoy the event since you are always thinking about the little details or what could go wrong. I do however look forward to the meal- amazing food.

On to a more pertinent subject- it's Artsy Wednesday! Today's theme is "Glitter gradient". I wanted to do something seasonal since I probably won't have time to do my nails again before the party. I wanted to stay away from greens and reds since I felt it would be too obvious a choice. So of course I immediately thought of gold glitter!

I started with two coats of OPI Every Month Is Oktoberfest and added a coat of SV to help it dry. Once my nails were completely dry, I used a makeup sponge and sponged on China Glaze Champagne kisses onto the tips of my nails. I then added on a light coat of Revlon Sequins. I am seriously obsessed with this polish. I bought it Sunday and have already used it twice.

So what do you think? Is this festive enough for my holiday party?
