Hi lovelies! So if you've been reading my blog lately -and I know you have ;), then you know that I have developed a small obsession with "dotticures". This is a recent phenomenon for me. I have always love dots but I only did them once in a blue moon. Now I've done them three times in the last week! The great thing about dot designs is that they are easy, fun and the design possibilities are endless. My inspiration for this design was this pattern. I was originally going to make the design exactly like the picture but then went off on a freestyle tangent. I really like the way it turned out. It reminds me of really cool 1960's wallpaper.
For the base color I used two coats of Julep Meryl, for the dots I used American Apparel T-Shirt. I created the dot pattern with the tip of one of my nail art brushed and my double-sided dotting tool. I simply layered the various sized dots over each other for a "spacey" effect.
