My First Artsy Wednesday - Wedding Nails

Happy Hump Day! I am so excited for today's post. This is my very first Artsy Wednesday post! Alanna at Pretty Purple Polish was kind enough to invite me to join and this week's theme is wedding nails. This is a great theme which comes along with a plethora of nail art ideas. Almost too many. This design evolved while I was playing around with a silver nail art striper. The design reminded me of patterns you see on wedding cakes.

I started with two coats of Essie Marshmallow, which is one of my favorite whites. For the lattice pattern I used LA Girls Art Deco Nail Art Pen in Silver. I then used nail art tweezers to apply small silver beads. I then topped off my nails with Seche Vite to secure the beads and for shine.

I am really happy with how these turned out-though I don't know how long the beads will last! On another note, I just moved and am attempting to find the best place to take pictures. My new place has tons of windows but tends to be dark. I take my pics at night so this has proven to be a challenge. My pics may look a bit different for a little while as I attempt to figure out my what the best lighting source is.
