Happy Friday peeps! I am so ready for the weekend. Does anyone have any fun plans? I do! My weekend will be jam packed with a whole lot of lounging around my apartment. Ha! Seriously though I am actually looking forward to it. I am an expert in the art of doing nothing. I wanted to do something fun and simple for today. I love the look of layered glitter but rarely d it so I thought this was the perfect time. I love Revlon Scandalous (which you may also know by it's original name, Facets of Fuchsia). I haven't worn it in ages and only used it once here on the blog when I did a comparison of it and Deborah Lippmann Bad Romance when I first started blogging. I decided to use it as the base of this glitter bomb.
I used two thick coats of Scandalous. It is a sheer black jelly base so it needs generous coats for full opacity. This is seriously one of the hardest polishes to photograph. I don;t think I've done it justice but this was the best of the bunch.
I then layered on two coats of Savina Flash, which is an awesome holo hex glitter that is perfect for layering. I had completely forgotten that I even owned this and now I am asking how that could even be possible since it is so freakin' gorgeous! With all these layers this is a thick mani for sure but I decided to give the "Craft Glue" base coat another go and hopefully removal with be less of a pain.
