Happy Wednesday! Or as I call it Friday Eve Eve- ha! Today is Artsy Wednesday and our theme for this week are Saran/Cling Wrap Mani. Saran Wrap manis are one of my all-time favorites. I did one some weeks ago that is one of my all-time favorite designs. I decided to use gold again- because I am obsessed with how it looks on a Saran Wrap mani - and add a pastel base.
For my base I used Revlon Minted which is my favorite pastel mint green. For the gold I used my favorite gold, Essie Good As Gold. It's such a perfect gold for this technique.
In case you have never done a Saran Wrap Mani here is a quick step-by-step tutorial
1. Paint on your base color. Make sure that you let it dry completely. I apply a coat of Seche Vite to speed the process up.
2. Taking your piece Saran Wrap; ball it up and dab it into your accent color. Dab the excess off so your base color will still show through. Apply to nails, dabbing lightly ( I find that if you dab heavily you run the danger of covering the entire nail).
3. Apply your top coat of choice.
