Artsy Wednesday- Halloween Nails

Happy Halloween!! Today is going to be a busy day for me. We have our Annual Halloween party at my office and I am the person who plans and coordinates it. A lot of fun ultimately-but also a lot of work. For this week's Artsy Wednesday Challenge the theme, of course, is Halloween. For my design I decided to go with bats. I was originally going to use a stamp for this but decided at the last minute to freehand them instead.

For the base of this design I used two coats of China Glaze Elephant Walk. I love this gray because it is not a completely flat cream color. It has a really soft subtle shimmer to it. I then used the tip of one of my nail art brushes and Wet N' Wild White French Cream to create the "full moons" on each nail. I then used WFC and a piece of makeup sponge to make the whisps of clouds.  Using the small end of my dotting tool I drew on the bats with OPI Black Onyx. I topped the entire design off with OPI Rapid Dry Top Coat.

Check out what the other ladies came up with for this week's Halloween theme!
