Favorite Things: Favorite Polish - Butter London Dodgy Barnett

Hi all! I am on the second part of the Favorite Things challenge. I had to pick my favorite polish. My favorite polish changes based on whatever my current obsession is. Right now it is Butter London. Until recently I only owned three of their polishes- Wallis, Snog, and Bluey (which was was a b-day gift) all of which I swatched in previous posts. But I was plagued by chipping which kind of tuned me off. Who wants to spend $14 on a polish that chips so easily?Though I coveted the awesome colors, I couldn't bring myself to spend the money. Then a friend turned me on to a base coat that works really well with Butter London's formulas- Orly Bonder. It is a rubberized base coat that helps polish adhere to the nail better. So I decided to give it a try and magic happened. My Butter Londons don't chip! Now, I don't know if it will work for everyone- base coats and top coats are hit or miss depending on your nails so try at your own risk. But I thought I would share if any of you had the same issue.   Last week I swatched Trustafarian from the 2012 Autumn/Winter Collection, which is a gorgeous green-yellow holo. Today I have the other holo to show, Dodgy Barnett. DB is a soft pale silver holo that changes from silver to gold to pink to purple (!).  The pics below show three thin coats with a coat of SV. I tend to lean more towards soft holos like this than the in your face holos. Trustafarian is still my favorite of the entire collection, but Dodgy Barnett is a close second.
