Hi all! I've been MIA the last few days. Mostly due to the heat here in Chicago. My place does not have AC and so it is a cesspool of heat. And it's nearly impossible to do nails in this kind of heat- air bubbles galore. But I did want to show you a new polish I got in the mail earlier this week and that I've been wearing ever since. Nail-Venturous' Floam has been all over the blogs. It is an awesome yellow and green matte glitter in a clear jelly base that resembles the kid's toy of the same name. I used two coats of Floam over Sally Hansen Complete Manicure in Calypso Blue. Flaom is very thick so I could have gotten away with just one coat. Like most glitter polish Floam is top coat thirsty so I would recommend using something like Gelous over it. I used Seche Vite and it gulped it right up. I apologize that I wasn't able to get any pics in daylight for you to drool over- Floam is definitely drool-worthy, but I plan on doing some fun nail art with Floam sometime in the future and I promise to get some better shots of it for you. Nail-Venturous sells on Etsy and Ninja Polish (which is where I got mine) and retails for $9. I highly suggest setting up e-mail notification on Etsy and Ninja Polish as Floam tends to sell out quickly.
