I am so excited to show you today's mani! I love animal print - specifically leopard, and if you read the nail blogs you know leopard print manis are all over the place right now. Which I don't mind one bit as I never get tired of them. But I wanted to do something a little different. So Tiger it was to be! This was actually super easy to do. I started with two coats of China Glaze Desert Sun, the using a sponge (I ripped off the tip of a makeup sponge and used the thin edge of it) I applied Sally Hansen Hard as Nails in White On down the center of each nail. After that, I used the brush tip of my Claire's double-sided nail art pen in Black to create the stripes. I made the stripes irregular using little "v" or "fork" shapes to mimic real tiger stripes. I then topped with a coat of Color Club Zero to Sixty Top Coat. I love this mani! I kept walking around my house going "rawr" last night at my two cats. Who of course just looked at me with slight disgust and pity.
I came across a very similar mani on PolishYouPretty. The method is pretty much the same as the one I used except they reversed how they applied the colors.
