Artsy Wednesday - The View From My Window: A Winter Sky

Hi all and happy hump day. It's Artsy Wednesday and today's theme is "The View From My Window".  The view from my window right now is the cold cloudy winter sky. We haven't had much snow this winter (which is just weird for Chicago). Places like El Paso, Texas have actually had more snow so far than we have. Yes, Texas! But we do have clouds and gray skies. So I am embracing the gloom for this week's design.

I started with two coats of Essence Grey-t To Be Here. I have fallen in love with this color it is the perfect soft gray with a hint of pink shimmer to it. I then used a piece of makeup sponge to sponge on the clouds using Sally Hansen White Out. For the final touch I dabbed on two thin coats of OPI Pirouette My Whistle.

  2. This came out really fab! Love the colors - finally we have gray skys and rain in the forecast back. We had all this cold weather that is hitting most of the US now. Then we hit some 70s degree days which I hate in the mid of winter. I had turned my closet about for winter and only had a few summer things unpacked still. Really like the look of this one with the addition of that oh so useful OPI Pirouette My Whistle
