American Apparel Dynasty

You know when you find yourself attracted to a color that you would normally never look twice at? This is what happened to me when I saw a swatch of American Apparel Dynasty online a few weeks ago. I usually find pink-purple- mauvey tones to be blah. Just not my style. Oh but, Dynasty...Dynasty has won my heart. 

 

Isn't it purty? This is two coats of Dynasty with a coat of SV.  The formula is awesome; no  streakiness and the coverage was really great but I'm Type A and always feel the need for at least 2 coats of any polish. I probably could have gotten away with one coat I had planned on doing some stamping over it but I just couldn't bring myself to do it once I had painted my nails.   I seriously walked around just staring at my hands for a few hours. 

I finally got around to adding my stamping last night. I used BM plate 21 and Wet N' Wild Metallica. I love how subtle and feminine this looks.
