New Year's Eve Nails Black and Gold Stripes
My last post of 2012! This year has gone by crazy fast. I had some pretty significant changes in my life personally. Along with starting this blog, I moved- which I am still adjusting to. I am looking forward to 2013 and what the future will bring. I wasn't really in the mood to go out and party this year- I never really am. I don't drink so usually I just wind up as the only sober person in the room which is never any fun! So I will be hanging out with my Mom watching movies and eating her signature NYE chili. It is truly awesome chili. I may not be partying tonight but that doesn't mean I can't have a party on my nails! I always associate black and gold with New Year's Eve so I had to go with those two colors.
I started with painting two coats of Essie Good as Gold. Once dry I used striping tape to tape off my lines. I then painted one coat of OPI Black Onyx and removed the tape while my nails were still wet. I then used a coat of SV for shine.
I want to wish everyone a Happy New Year! Do any of you have any fun plans to ring in 2013?
